“Alliance & Leicester Tag Rugby
Regional Finals at Hinckley”

Hinckley RFC hosted the regional finals of the Leicester Tigers Alliance & Leicester Tag Rugby programme on Wednesday 30th January 2008. Leicester Tigers coaches have visited dozens of schools to introduce rugby to local schoolchildren as part of the programme.

The twelve schools who attended were Barwell Juniors, East Woodville, Lady Jane Gray, Manorfield, Mercenfeld, Millfield, Newlands, Orchard, Ratby, Thornton, Townlands and Weavers Close

After an exciting afternoon of rugby with some great individual and team performances Barwell Junior School and Townland, Earl Shilton were the 2 schools who won their respective finals to proceed to the overall finals at Welford Road, Leicester. Well done to everyone who took part.
